Oh No! is a special work that bridges the line between absurdism and serious art. While the themes are at times playful and some of the samples humorous, the music is both composed and extremely listenable. Nick clearly knows his way around a eurorack, and shows masterful control throughout. It is a bit too upbeat to be classified as ambient and two low-key to be EDM. Through chimes and absurd rhythms, field recordings and electro-acoustic noises, this tape creates a listening environment that is as much fun as it is thoughtful.

The other special fact about this tape is that for every copy sold, Endangered Species will be donating a dollar to Natural Resources Defense Council. At a time when the environment is under attack by a reckless administration, it is important that we do what little we can. If you can, pay a couple dollars more, everything over $5 on this tape goes to NRDC.
